Dining with Di brings to Santa Barbara a full service Catering and Event planning business. Along with her attention to detail, the food is beautifully presented and every aspect of your event is thought through. Along with Diana Cuttrell, she has a staff of professional chefs, servers and bartenders that will make your event unforgettable.

Dining with Di is entering her 12th year of business in Santa Barbara. Starting in 2009 at the encouragement of a dear friend. Most of her business is referral based, along with repeat clients over the years.

Some of her corporate clients include Crane School, Cinema Society of Santa Barbara, AHA, Casa del Herrero and The Knox School. She has catered to many producers who come to Santa Barbara to shoot for companies such as Lands End, Eddie Bauer, Soft Surroundings, Appleseeeds and Ralph Lauren. She also traveled to the Bahamas catering for a Surfer Magazine 10 day photo shoot. Diana has also catered at sea aboard the Channel Cat and Celebration Cruises.

Diana Cuttrell is a second generation California growing up in a family well rooted in the art of fine cuisine. Her Grandfather, Mique Wheatley, was the founder of Mother's Cake and Cookie Company in Oakland, California. Diana's interest in cooking began as a child wandering the factory in awe, watching how the cookies were made in huge mixing bowls, dropping down on conveyor belts, all being made at her grandfather's factory.

Diana's parents were also restauranteurs, owning the Branding Iron Restaurant on Cobb Mountain, whose specialty was signature steaks and classic Caesar Salads. Her mother was a gourmet cook and always encouraged Diana to experiment with cooking, and as a young child she was already creating masterpieces with cottage cheese and peaches or backing chocolate chip cookies. From these two strong backgrounds came her love for cooking and entertaining.

Diana has lived in Santa Barbara for over 40 years and has developed her cooking techniques entertaining large numbers of people, hosting private parties, and coordinating and planning for large events for many local nonprofits in town. Diana's skills as a chef are always enjoyed by her many private clients and friends who always want to be on her guest list for her Special Events.
